Description:  Students will work with their families to create a timeline of important events in their life and to select pictures to connect with each event.  These materials will be brought to school and used by the students to create a Photostory project that tells their personal history.  Students will write a script for each picture that tells when the event occurred, what it was, and why it was important in their life and any impact it may have had on who they are today.  Photos will be scanned or imported, edited, uploaded into Photostory and appropriately sequenced.  The script that the children write for each picture will be narrated by them.  This project will occur during our technology block and pieces of our literacy and centers blocks over the course of 12 weeks.  The final products will be posted each child’s wiki page on our class wiki and will be presented to their peers and families.
