Project Plan:

I will be using the project with second year Algebra I students.  I will be asking them to research some careers that use Algebra and then ask them to create a multimedia presentation to show the results of their research to the rest of the class.  I will be showing them how to:

1.  Google the Essential Question: Why is Algebra a useful topic to learn?

2.  Show how to share resources using delicious.com

3.  Create a presentation that is clear to the audience while also interesting to view (we will look at a few slides and critique them)

4.  Work with each other to help with editing the presentations

The assessment for this project will be the viewing of the presentations, accompanied by an assessment rubric and a self-assessment rubric.
