French-Speaking Countries and Communities:  A Study of the Province of Québec

Description:

As part of a bigger unit of study of French-speaking communities in the world I will introduce the Province of Québec as an example.  I would like the students to research one aspect of their choice of the Province using both technological research tools and networking with our partner school in Québec.  Another real-life resource are family/community members of French-Canadian origin. At the moment I am adding resources to my SchoolFusion webpage under section links and Section Files.  I will either use SchoolFusion or Moddle to manage my wikis/blogs. I will encourage my students to use Google Earth, PowerPoint, PhotoStory as  presentation tools.
